Jeff Cowan
I earned my masters degree in clinical psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles and received psychodynamic training from The Maple Counseling Center. I worked as an outpatient therapist at Wellnest Emotional Health and Wellness, and as a program therapist at Visions Adolescent Treatment Center. Prior to launching my own practice I trained extensively under Ashley Graber, learning how to integrate mindfulness into my therapeutic work. Before becoming a therapist I taught mindfulness in schools throughout Los Angeles educating students, teachers, and parents in the practice of mindfulness and meditation.
I utilize mindfulness-based therapy to assist clients in cultivating deeper compassion, insight, increasing access to their inherent wisdom, and helping release what is no longer serving them. I am passionate about working with adults, adolescents, and children who are seeking support from a wide range of issues. I believe that it is important that clients feel safe within the therapeutic relationship and that they fully trust their therapist with the depths of their being.
Please feel free to contact me for a free consultation. I would be happy to speak with you.
